Overview

Utilena (“we,” “us”) provides free, browser-based utility tools at utilena.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have.

How the tools work

Every tool on Utilena runs entirely in your browser. Text you type, files you select, and results you generate are processed on your own device using JavaScript — none of it is sent to, or stored on, our servers. We don’t require an account, and we don’t save any history of what you enter into a tool.

One exception is the Word Unscrambler, which downloads a public word list file from our server so it can run its search locally in your browser. That download doesn’t include or transmit anything you typed.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information for security and performance purposes — things like your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We don’t combine this with any other data to identify you personally.

Cookies and advertising

We may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info/choices. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings.

See Google’s own policy for more detail on how it uses data: How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

Children's privacy

Utilena is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date above.
